As the Chinese New Year approaches, the artists of Tantou woodcut New Year paintings are busy producing the New Year painting rubbings to ensure an adequate supply to the market during Spring Festival. The Tantou woodcut New Year paintings have been listed as one of the first batch of national-level intangible cultural heritage items in 2006.
