Shen Xiaoming, deputy to the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress and secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, visited the Changsha Delegation attending the Second Session of the 14th Hunan Provincial People's Congress on the afternoon of January 25, 2024.

He deliberated the provincial government work report and the "Hunan Provincial Local Legislation Regulations (Draft Amendments)"with the delegates. He noted that Changsha should further free the mind and work hard; shoulder the responsibilities of provincial capital city; and, play a leading role in building the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metropolitan area into an important national growth pole; contributing more to realizing the beautiful blueprint for the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy.

On January 25, Secretary Shen attended the deliberation with Changsha delegates.

During the deliberation, Wu Guiying, Wang Ping, Zeng Wanhui, Jiang Hongbo, Hu Liuquan, Hou Peilin, Qin Guoliang, Li Li, Duan Yanwen, Fu Guanjun, Liu Hailong, and other deputies made suggestions on such topics as building Changsha City into a global research and development center; scientific and technological innovation and industrial development; integration of culture and science and technology; cultural and tourism consumption; and, guaranteeing the people's wellbeing.

Secretary Shen listened carefully to their opinions and exchanged ideas with the participants. He asked relevant provincial departments to attentively study and absorb those advices.
