Hunan Government, MOT Sign Ministerial-Provincial Cooperation Agreement

The People's Government of Hunan Province and the Ministry of Transport (MOT) held a working meeting in Beijing on the afternoon of December 12, 2023. Both sides thoroughly implemented President Xi Jinping's important exposition on transport, and practiced arrangements made by the Central Economic Work Conference. They jointly signed a cooperation agreement on accelerating building a country with great transport strength and assisting Hunan in realizing beautiful blueprint of "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy.


Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of Hunan Province, and Li Xiaopeng, MOT CPC Leadership Group secretary and minister, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.


Hunan Vice Governor Li Jianzhong and MOT Vice Minister Xu Chengguang signed the agreement on behalf of the two sides. Provincial Secretary General Qu Hai was present.


On December 12, Hunan government and MOT held a working meeting in Beijing. Hunan Governor Mao Weiming and MOT Minister Li Xiaopeng participated.


Hunan government and MOT signed a cooperation agreement. Governor Mao and Minister Li witnessed the signing ceremony.


According to the agreement, MOT and Hunan government will launch collaboration and co-construction in such ten aspects as the building of a modern and high-quality integrated three-dimensional transportation network, a multi-level comprehensive transportation hub, and in-depth expansion of the transportation powerhouse pilot areas. Both sides will optimize the allocation of resources to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.
