The organizing committee awarded certificates to twenty Kenyan trainees attending the edible fungus technology exchange activity. The Changsha Commerce and Tourism College was honored with the title of Luban Workshop Lecture Training Center for "Belt and Road" China-Africa Business Talents.

Through the exchange activity, Kenyan trainees learned how to plant edible fungi, produce fungi seeds, and cultivate fungi, as well as learning how to build greenhouses and cook edible fungi. Mr. John Shimaka, director of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) and head of the technical exchange team, said that edible fungi have high economic added value, are friendly to the ecological environment, and have huge economic value and market potential in Kenya, and he noted that Kenya is willing to learn Chinese agricultural technologies and accelerate the development of Kenya's agriculture.

Mr. John Shimaka expressed his gratitude to China and hoped to strengthen cooperation with Hunan and China in agricultural science and technology and attract more enterprises to invest in Kenya's agriculture.

A signing ceremony was held during the conference. Kenyan enterprises, including the Patmaella Agencies Ltd., signed agreements with Hunan enterprises on cooperation in edible fungus products, agricultural machinery, and scientific and technology exchanges.
