The Changsha Huanghua International Airport opened a bus route X301 on December 9, 2023. This route links the downtown bus station to the airport terminal, providing one more travel option for the passengers. 

The X301 bus pulls out from the Xingsha Bus Station. It passes through a number of densely populated areas such as medium and large-size residential communicates, leading enterprises, primary and middle schools, and government units, and finally arrives at the T2 Terminal of the airport. The route terminates at the Huanghua Cross-border E-commerce Supervision Center. The bus stops at the A10 platform on the Arrival Level of the T2 Terminal, only 30 meters away from the terminal entry, allowing passengers to minimize their walking distance.

The X301 buses operate from 6:30 to 19:00 every day. The ticket price for the entire route is 2 yuan per person. Children under 14 years old can take free rides by using children's cards, which can be obtained with their ID cards and household registers at the Changsha County Road Transportation Service Center. 

So far, more and more options have become available for road transport between the Changsha airport and the downtown area, including airport shuttle, airport expressway, taxi, ride-hailing service, rented or chartered vehicle, special bus line, and regular bus service.
