In recent years, Liuyang City has actively explored the promotion of food safety through smart manufacturing, continuously increasing support for the technical transformation of food production and processing enterprises and accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the food industry. Additionally, Liuyang has built a food industry base with the Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone and Hunan Provincial Agricultural Science and Technology Park as the core. The county-level city is home to 449 food production enterprises, with the total output value reaching 24.53 billion yuan in 2022.
