Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of the Hunan Provincial People's Government inspected the progress of the "Empowering Enterprises with Intelligence" campaign in Changsha and attended a provincial work promotion meeting on November 16. He underscored the importance of thoroughly implementing the spirit of President Xi Jinping's important instructions on new industrialization. He urged the need to further advance the "Empowering Enterprises with Intelligence" campaign and equip thousands of enterprises with digital technologies, so as to continuously promote high-end, intelligent, and eco-friendly development of enterprises in the province.

Provincial leaders Qin Guowen and Zhou Haibing attended. Qu Hai, secretary general of the Hunan Provincial People's Government was present. 

At the work promotion meeting, Governor Mao pointed out that the campaign has achieved obvious results in helping enterprises take off. Hunan has newly built 33,000 5G base stations and 3 data centers above a designated scale. A total of 220 industrial Internet platforms have been cultivated across the province, including 1 national cross-industry and cross-field platform and 30 provincial-level platforms. More than 7.4 million pieces or sets of industrial equipment have been connected to the platforms. The province is home to 13 national intelligent manufacturing demonstration factories and 25 excellent scenes. A total of 724 intelligent manufacturing enterprises were newly established in the province. Changsha was selected as one of China's first batch of pilot cities to digitally transform small and medium-sized enterprises.
