A delegation led by Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, visited Japan from November 7 to 11. The visit, under the guidance of the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and Japan, aimed to give full play to local advantages, enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen people-to-peoople bonds, and build bilateral relations that meet the requirements of the new era.

The delegation also came to the Chinese Embassy in Japan and had in-depth exchanges with Chinese Ambassador to Japan Wu Jianghao on deepening the exchanges and cooperation between Changsha and Japan in economy, trade, culture, tourism, sister city, and other aspects.

During their stay in Japan, the delegation paid field visits to Aeon Group headquarters, Ulvac Kyushu Plant, Sumitomo Rubber Industries headquarters, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. and other enterprises in Japan, striving for more strategic projects, production bases, and research and development centers to locate in Changsha.
