Governor Mao welcomed the guests and briefed them on Hunan's conditions and economic and social development. He noted that China and South Korea are very close to each other in terms of geographical location, cultural background, and ancestral ties. In recent years, Hunan Province and Jeollabuk-do have become much closer in interaction and cooperation, with fruitful results in the fields of culture and tourism, science and technology, education, and youth exchange.

Hunan is now focusing on the beautiful blueprint of the "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy to comprehensively accelerate high-quality development, taking the lead in equipment manufacturing and cultural creativity. Jeollabuk-do boasts advanced modern agriculture, high-end manufacturing, new energy, and other industries. Both sides are highly compatible in industrial development and share broad prospects for collaboration.

The governor regarded the delegation's visit to Hunan as an opportunity to further strengthen industrial partnership, promoting humanistic communication and deepening friendly exchanges, so as to achieve win-win results in resource sharing and complementary advantages. We warmly welcome more South Korean enterprises to invest and prosper in Hunan, and more South Korean friends to visit Hunan, he added.

Governor Kim hoped that both sides would leverage their comparative advantages to keep expanding economic and trade exchanges and enhancing friendship. He believed that both sides may further advance friendly exchanges and pragmatic collaboration to benefit the people of both countries with more cooperation outcomes.
