Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, met in Changsha with Wei Hao, secretary of the CPC Committee and chairman of the Board of the China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd. (CRGG) on the morning of November 9, 2023.

On November 9, Secretary Shen had a discussion with CRGG Chairman Wei in Changsha.

Secretary Shen, on behalf of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, welcomed the guests and thanked CRGG for its long-term support for Hunan's economic and social development. He introduced that Hunan is striving to realize the beautiful blueprint of "Three Hubs and Four New Missions" Strategy drawn by President Xi Jinping, hoping to deepen cooperation with CRGG. Both sides may jointly plan and implement an array of major railway projects and push forward the institutional mechanism reform, to further enhance transportation capacity and reduce logistics cost. Hunan will continue to optimize its services and create sound conditions for CRGG's expansion here, he added.

Chairman Wei thanked Hunan for its continuous support to CRGG, and remarked that the group will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with Hunan, working together to promote project planning and implementation and keep advancing railway construction in Hunan, so as to better boost Hunan's high-quality economic and social development.
