Hunan Cultural Tourism Delegation Visits South Korea

At the invitation of the South Korea International Exchange Foundation (IEF), Li Aiwu, deputy director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, led a delegation to South Korea on October 31. During the visit, they met with Yoo Jung-ju, member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and visited the Incheon City Government, South Korea IEF, and the Korea Association of Travel Agents (KATA).

On the morning of October 31, Li Aiwu visited the Incheon City Government and held friendly discussions with a spokesperson of Incheon City, and a person in charge of the Incheon City Bureau of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Bureau on how to deepen cooperation in the field of culture and tourism. A series of agreements on cooperation were reached between the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Incheon City Bureau of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

On the afternoon of October 31, Li Aiwu met with Yoo Jung-ju, member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on cultural and tourism exchanges, the development of the cartoon and game industry, and other areas. Following the meeting, Li Aiwu visited KATA and had discussions, reaching a consensus on establishing a cooperation platform, expanding the tourism market, and sharing the outcomes of cooperation.

The South Korea IEF will host the "IEF 2023 Malanshan International Digital Entertainment Carnival" in mid-November in Hunan. This event will cover various areas, including sister city cooperation, culture and tourism, technology education, digital technology, and e-sports entertainment. During the carnival, KATA will organize South Korean travel agencies to visit Changsha, Zhangjiajie, and other places and carry out field visits and market expansion activities.
