The "2023 China Smart City Awards Powered by World Smart City Awards" was held in Changsha on the evening of November 1. Changsha Urban Development Group Co., Ltd. won the "Enterprises Category Awards · Outstanding S.M.E.", while Tianxin District of Changsha was granted the "City Category Awards · Industry & Economy Award".

At the site, outstanding entrepreneurs and city representatives from around the world jointly discussed the path and direction of smart city construction. They expected a series of practical and feasible measures to be taken so as to achieve better results in global smart city construction. The measures included strengthening scientific and technological innovation, promoting digital transformation, cultivating emerging industries, and enhancing cooperation and collaboration between enterprises and the society. 

The "World Smart City Awards," organized by the Smart City Expo World Congress, is an annual event hailed as the "Oscar" of the global smart city industry. During the ceremony, it was revealed that the "2023 China Smart City Awards" consisted of different categories such as the Leadership Category Awards, Enterprise Category Awards, and City Category Awards.

In the future, this series of awards will persist in advancing the "people-oriented" urban development objective. They will have a special emphasis on the application and empowerment of technologies and solutions in urban services, governance, industries, and innovation. Focus will be on delving into sustainable and replicable top-level design concepts, fostering cooperation and construction models. Additionally, more exemplary global urban instances, benchmark enterprises, and leadership role models that can serve as catalysts for progress will be discovered.
