The photo, taken on November 1, shows a flourishing Chinese mustard plantation at Fuqiaoba Village, Gaoxishi Town, Lengshuitan District, Yongzhou. The plantation covers 500 mu, about 33.5 hectares. In recent years, the district has carried out a "rice + vegetables" multiple cropping mode, which helps develop specialty vegetable industry and improve farmland utilization. The farmlands which were vacant in winter can be used for vegetable planting, and thus increase local farmers' income. (Photo/Lei Zhongxiang)
