The Changsha Marathon 2023 kicked off at 7:30 a.m. on October 29. This year's marathon saw the highest-ever registration and participation. A total of 26,000 people took part in the event, including 9,000 for a full marathon, 13,000 for a half marathon, and 4,000 for a fun run. This year, the total prize money increased to 1.37 million yuan. A record breaking award of 10,000 yuan is respectively set up for men's and women's full marathons.
