The Second International Summit on BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) Applications convened in Zhuzhou on October 26, 2023.

Themed "One World, BDS with You", the summit will feature 13 special events, including an opening ceremony and main forum, four thematic forums, seven supporting activities, and one achievement exhibition. It will carry out cooperation negotiation and projects signing on large-scale BDS applications. New technologies and products on BDS applications will be released at the session, fully demonstrating the latest achievements of the large-scale BDS applications. This aims to build a platform for comprehensive negotiation and cooperation, brighten up Hunan's calling card of BDS, and pushe the BDS large-scale applications towards market-oriented, industrialized, and internationalized development.

Hunan is an important source of BDS technology and a demonstration area for its innovative applications. It boasts unique advantages in the development of BeiDou industry, and has basically built a comprehensive industrial chain that includes space segment, ground segment, and user segment.
