A late-season rice yield monitoring of the Changsha "Four-High" Grain Production Pilot Demonstration Zone (Changsha County) was held in Longwangmiao Village, Chunhua Town, Changsha County on October 24 afternoon. The "Four-High" refers to the four key aspects emphasized in the pilot demonstration zone, which are high standards, high technology, high quality, and high output.
Processes such as harvesting, weighing, moisture determination, quality detection, and calculation were conducted by an expert team on site. The 1,000-mu core demonstration zone for late-season rice in Changsha County achieved a yield of 666.13 kg per mu (about 0.067 hectares), and the county's 10,000-mu comprehensive late-season rice demonstration zone produced a yield of 606 kg per mu. According to comprehensive statistics, the average yield per mu of the 1,000-mu core demonstration zones for late-season rice across Changsha reached 652.92 kg, and that of the city's 10,000-mu comprehensive late-season rice demonstration zones stood at 607.73 kg.
