The second Ningxiang Huitang Hot Spring Half Marathon, or the 31st Ningxiang Road Race, was held in Huitang Town, Ningxiang on October 22. With the theme of "Bathing in hot springs, Visiting Great Men, Meeting in Huitang Town", the race was integrated with Ningxiang's unique cultural landscape, natural ecology, history and culture, bringing a unique visual and experience feast for participants and tourists.

At 8 o'clock, with the sound of the starting gun, more than 6,500 participants from home and abroad rushed out of the starting line with energetic steps at the main venue-Huitang Town or the sub-venue-Huaminglou Town.

The race included a half marathon, a mini run and a fun run. After the fierce competition, Gosa Bogale Seyoum and Dereje Urgecha Beyecha from Ethiopia won the first and second place in the men's marathon, and Tan Qi from China won the third place. China's Huang Fei won the women's marathon title, while Ethiopia's Shewaye Hirpasa Disasa and China's Li Saijun finished second and third respectively.
