Sixteen Major Cultural Tourism Projects Worth Nearly 7 Billion Yuan Signed in Changsha

On October 14, a cultural and tourism resource promotion event was held in Liuyang, Changsha City. Sixteen major cultural and tourism projects, including the national second headquarters project of Tongcheng Travel, the Liuyang River Ten-Mile Gallery Night Tour project, the Mansu Lake Rural B&B Resort in Kaihui Village, Kaihui Town, Changsha County, and the Hunan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Industrial Park project, were signed, with a total contract value of 6.986 billion yuan.

During the conference, heads of publicity departments throughout Changsha took on the role of cultural and tourism "spokesperson" and introduced local cultural and tourism resources. Xiao Zhengbo, vice mayor of Changsha, announced the 2023 Changsha Cultural and Tourism Brands, and gave recognition to the top ten best tourist hotels such as the Hunan Huatian Hotel, the top ten best tourist homestays like Liuyang Wuhao Shangu Homestay, the top ten best rural tourist destinations like Lianhua Town featuring slow life, the top ten best cultural and tourism festivals, including the 2022 Yuelu Mountain Youth Drama Festival, the top ten best new cultural and tourism consumption scenes such as the Dawangshan Tourist Resort, the top ten best smart application scenario models such as the Changsha Museum's smart guide and explanation project, and the top ten best souvenirs like Fulu. These awards aimed to showcase exemplary role of models and further enhance the influence of Changsha's cultural and tourism brands.
