According to data released by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, during the 8-day Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, Hunan received a total of 30.682 million tourist trips, an increase of 82.87% and 25% compared to 2022 and 2019 respectively. The comprehensive tourism revenue reached 31.75 billion yuan, showing a growth of 78.65% compared to 2022 and around 30% compared to 2019.

The second Hunan Tourism Development Conference held in mid-September served as a great holiday prelude for Chenzhou. During the just-concluded holiday, Chenzhou received 3.2728 million tourist arrivals, ranking second only to Changsha. According to mobile signaling data from Chenzhou's Smart Tourism Platform, the proportion of tourists from outside of Hunan Province exceeded 54%, marking the first time that out-of-province tourists accounted for more than half of Chenzhou's total visitors.

Fifty-five provincially-monitored red tourism areas received 472,100 tourist arrivals during the holiday, a year-on-year growth of 294.28%. The revenue generated from these areas amounted to 44.7442 million yuan, indicating a remarkable increase of 369.1% compared to the previous year.

The deep integration of culture and tourism, colorful cultural activities, technological advancements, and tempting culinary experiences gave tourists more incentives to visit Hunan.
