The 24th Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo will be held in Changsha between October 27 and 31, 2023.
The session will be themed "CCHAE Renewed: Pioneering the Path Forward". The exhibition will cover about 110,000 square meters. It will consist of eight themed pavilions, including Hunan pavilion, central provinces pavilion, and agricultural service pavilion. Two international pavilions will be set up, with special exhibition areas for guest countries of honor and imported and exported agricultural products. Traders from six countries and regions will participate in procurement. During the expo, a promotion event for the agricultural brands in central regions of China, and a conference on the agricultural products processing industry development in central regions of China, also an agricultural investment promotion conference, will be held.
Inaugurated in 1999, the expo has been held for 23 sessions so far, and displayed more than 210,000 kinds of featured products. The transaction volume amounted to 259.5 billion CNY. The previous sessions have received more than 21 million visits, with over 1.75 million visits by purchasers and professional audience. The expo has become a crucial channel of the central regions of China and even other domestic and foreign regions to release advanced agricultural technologies and up-to-date achievements; an important platform to connect suitable projects and enhance cooperation and communication; and, a significant window to publicize development policies and promote typical models.
