The Changsha Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Detachment announced on September 25 that, temporary road restrictions will be implemented around the Orange Isle during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. The move aims to ensure orderly, safe and smooth traffic on roads near the Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain scenic areas during the holidays.

The road traffic restrictions will be imposed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., starting from September 28 to October 7. Motor vehicles, excluding buses, fire engines, ambulances, and other special vehicles, are forbidden to pass through the south and north branches of the Juzizhou Bridge over the Xiangjiang River.

The traffic police also issued a travel reminder for visitors to the Orange Isle Scenic Area during the holidays. Private car owners may choose to park their cars at 17 public parking lots in the scenic area's outer peripheral areas, including the traffic police detachment, Dolton Commercial Plaza, Ji Hotel, Wuyi Xinganxian Building, and West of Taiping Street. After parking their cars, they can either walk a distance of 500 to 1,000 meters or take Metro Line 2, Sightseeing Bus Line 3, or Bus No. 109 to the scenic area. Vehicles are not allowed to stop or be parked on Xiaoxiang Avenue, Xiangjiang Road, and other main roads surrounding the scenic area.
