The 2023 China Family Sailing Race Yueyang Stop will kick off on Nanhu Lake, Yueyang, on September 30. This is Hunan's first time to host such race. More than 100 racers in 40 families will compete at this national-level tourist resort during the three-day sailing race.

The recruitment of family racers is ongoing and will continue until September 25. Professional trainings will be provided for all participating families prior to the race.

Sailing has been one of the Olympic sports since the first Olympic Games. The China Family Sailing Race was initiated by the Chinese Yachting Association in 2018, featuring full public participation. It has been held in several inland cities this year.

The Three-day race will have two divisions -- Hobie T1 and Hobie T2. There are no restrictions on nationality of the racers. Racers should participate as families, with two to four members aged between eight and 65.

All green hands should participate in four pre-competition trainings, with each participation lasting at least two hours. Experienced racers are required to submit their qualification certificates. Unqualified applicants will be refused.

Family applicants may call the organization committee to register (Contact: Chen, 15973018216). After the qualification examination, the organization committee will inform the racers of the training times and venues.
