The world's first hydrogen-powered smart train independently developed by Hunan CRRC Zhixing Technology Co., Ltd. (CRRC Zhixing) started test runs in Kuching City in Sarawak, Malaysia on September 6 afternoon, local time. The train departed from Hunan Province on July 14 and completed assembly and commissioning at a Malaysian port on August 21.

CRRC Zhixing, a subsidiary of CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co., Ltd., officially settled in Hunan Xiangjiang New Area in September 2020.
