The 2023 Hunan (Liling) International Ceramic Industry Expo will open at the China Ceramic Valley International Convention and Exhibition Center in Liling, Zhuzhou between September 28 and October 2. The theme will be "Millennium-old City of Ceramics, Multi-colored Liling", according to a press conference held in Changsha on September 5.

The expo will cover a total area of 30,000 square meters, consisting of five exhibition halls and 1,350 standard booths. The first Liling Stoneware Innovation and Design Competition, and a symposium on advanced ceramic materials and technologies will be held during the expo.

AI-powered virtual host "Xiao Yang" will make her debut at the expo to recommend Liling's porcelain industry. A special area of "digital image of Liling porcelain" custom-made service will be set up.

More than 380 exhibitors from 11 domestic provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions as well as 24 countries and regions around the world will participate in this grand event.
A livestreaming event will be held to promote the porcelain products. It will offer English service during the whole livestreaming to cater to foreign clients. Enterprises can use the technologies of online platforms and cloud markets to expand their business.

The expo has been held for five sessions since its initiation in 2015. It has become an important exposition for Chinese ceramic enterprises to secure foreign trade orders and expand their presence in international markets.
