The 62-day summer travel rush came to an end on August 31. From July 1 to August 31, passengers showed strong willingness to travel and the Changsha South Railway Station witnessed a continued boom in passenger flow. During the period, Hunan's 18 high-speed railway stations recorded a total of 18.188 million passenger trips. Among them, Changsha South Railway Station handled 10.444 million passenger trips, with the daily peak passenger trips exceeding 181,000.

The railway authority reminds that there is still a surge in the number of students returning back to schools for the new semester, and this peak period is expected to last until mid-September. Passengers are advised to plan their itinerary in advance and reserve enough time for check-in. Those traveling with children should present valid identification to avoid any delays in travel.
