China's first river-crossing operation scenario for "flying cars" was launched in Changsha on the morning of August 26. A signing ceremony on the exploration of flying car application scenarios was held simultaneously. A XPENG X2 "flying car" developed by Xpeng AeroHT, a subsidiary of Chinese e-automaker Xpeng, completed its first demonstration flight across the Xiangjiang River that day. It took off from Xiangjiang Fund Town on the west side of the Xiangjiang River and landed close to the building complex composed of Changsha Museum, Changsha Library, Changsha Planning Exhibition Hall, and Changsha Concert Hall on the river's east side.
