On August 13, Giulia Falcini, a specialist in the study of Nvshu, visited Jiangyong County. Giulia is a young Italian scholar and promoter of Nvshu culture in Europe. Nvshu is known as the only existing women's script in the world and an important cultural treasure. Giulia’s visit aims to promote and spread Nvshu culture through academic research.

In the morning, Giulia and her team visited Geqin and Haotang villages in Shangjiangxu Township to investigate and study Nvshu culture. They met with traditional practitioners of Nvshu folk songs, recorded live performances of their Nvshu folk songs, and showed concern for their daily living conditions.

In the afternoon, Giulia and her team visited the Nvshu Ecological Museum. They explained Nvshu culture to Italian students through livestreaming. The students learned to sing Nvshu folk songs and write Nvshu characters. They systematically learned about the history, current status, historical value, and essence of Nvshu, experiencing the unique charm of Nvshu culture. Giulia actively interacted with the students and the enthusiasm for learning about Nvshu was very high.

Giulia said, "We really love Nvshu. I think that Nvshu is a truly unique script. My research topic is how to translate Nvshu songs into Italian. I have already translated many songs because each Nvshu song carries its own story." Giulia added, "I am spreading Nvshu culture to Europe, especially Italy, because I want more foreigners to know about this beautiful culture. I have published two books in Italy, and we are preparing to publish a third one. In the book, I have also written Nvshu characters myself."

In recent years, Jiangyong County has vigorously promoted the integration of culture and tourism and carried out activities such as "Appreciating Nvshu Culture and Learning Nvshu Skills". The county has promoted Nvshu culture both online and offline, making it well-known both domestically and internationally. Nvshu culture has been promoted abroad, and has become a bridge for communication between Jiangyong and the rest of the world.

Hu Yanyu, a guide at the Nvshu Ecological Museum, commented, "We have many foreign visitors from such countries as Italy and Turkey. Today we have Giulia from Italy. She has been a student here for several years. She has been learning and promoting our Nvshu culture."
