On August 7, Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, paid a visit to Zhuzhou's Liling City (county-level) to inspect the development of county economy. Secretary Shen presided over a meeting and stressed the need to study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and President Xi Jinping's important discourse on county-level economic development. Shen urged Liling to expand featured industries based on the city's resource endowment, boost rural revitalization, and strive to be at the front provincewide in county-level economic development. 

On August 7, Secretary Shen visited Longxing'ao Village, Fenglin Town, Liling City to learn about industrial development and the improvement in farmers' income. 

On August 7, Secretary Shen learned about industrial development and talent cultivation of the ceramics industry at the Hunan Provincial Ceramic Research Institute. 

On August 7, Secretary Shen learned about industrial development and production process of the ceramics industry at the Hunan Hualian Porcelain Industry Co., Ltd. 

On August 7, Secretary Shen inspected the development of the components supporting industry of the rail transit industry cluster at the Zhuzhou Times Metal Manufacture Co., Ltd. 

On August 7, Secretary Shen inspected the development of the electrotechnical porcelain industry at the Liling Huaxin Insulator Technology Co., Ltd.

On August 7, Secretary Shen learned about production, logistics transportation, and foreign trade export of fireworks and firecrackers at the Liling Chili Fireworks Co., Ltd. 

On August 7, Secretary Shen inspected county-level economic development in Liling City and presided over a meeting. 

At the meeting, Secretary Shen listened to opinions and suggestions on county-level economic development from entrepreneurs, ceramic craftsmanship masters, experts, scholars, and relevant officials from Liling City.
