The 2023 Hunan International General Aviation Industry Expo will be held in Changsha and Zhuzhou between September 21 and 24, a press conference announced on July 20.

Themed "General Aviation Ushers in a Better Life", the expo will incorporate various formats such as exhibition, conference, award, performance, and competition. This will create a platform to showcase Hunan's reform and innovation achievements in general aviation field, to facilitate open cooperation within the general aviation industry, and to promote aviation culture.

An exhibition and an air show will be respectively staged. The exhibition will be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, with a planned area of 70,000 square meters. It will have several exhibition areas such as general aviation manufacturing, general aviation application, UAV, Beidou and 5G application, general aviation service, general aviation science popularization, and general aviation experience. The exhibition will display manufacturing, application experience, operation and services, and application scenarios of general aviation from multilevel perspectives.

For the first time, the exhibition will set up special exhibition areas for the guest countries and provinces of honor, aiming to enhance international exchange and cooperation and boost interactions among the provinces carrying out low-altitude airspace reform.

In addition, online exhibitions will open simultaneously, providing access to online participation, business match-making, and brand marketing services.

The air show will be staged at the Zhuzhou Lusong Airport. Renowned air show teams will give performances with various general aircrafts such as fixed wing aircrafts, helicopters, drones, model airplanes, powered parachutes, and hot air balloons.

Comparing with the previous sessions, this year's expo will further highlight industrial match-making, international cooperation, and interactive experience. Dozens of professional, targeted, and international forums and symposiums will be held, including a low-altitude economy development forum and the second conference for intelligence general aviation.

Besides, multiple cooperation match-making and investment promotion events will be organized to advance investment attraction and project implementation.
