Changsha Bus Group announced that starting from July 14, children under the age of 14 can take the bus free of charge in Changsha after showing the original or photocopies of valid documents such as ID cards and household registers.

This decision was made in accordance with the spirit of "optimizing the childbearing policy and promoting long-term and balanced population development" of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government.

The original preferential policy of "free bus rides for children under 1.3 meters accompanied by adults" is implemented simultaneously. The process for replacing the original student cards and applying for the new free ride cards will be announced at a later date.
