Changsha Metro Group announced that Changsha's all metro lines would implement the preferential policy of "free subway rides for children under the age of 14" starting from July 14. Eligible children can pass through a designated green channel free of charge by presenting valid documents.

This decision was made in accordance with the spirit of "optimizing the childbearing policy and promoting long-term and balanced population development" of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Hunan Provincial People's Government.
