The much-anticipated Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan (CZT) Intercity Railway West Ring Line Phase Ⅰ opens to traffic on June 28.
The CZT Intercity Railway West Ring Line Phase Ⅰ is an important transportation line to promote integrated development of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan. Upon completion, the line will be seamlessly connected with Changsha Metro Line 3. By then, Xiangtan residents can take metro trains at Xiangtan North Railway Station and travel to popular destinations in Changsha such as Wuyi Square and Juzizhou (Orange Isle).
The line starts at Xiangtan North Railway Station of the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway and ends at Shantang Station of Changsha Metro Line 3. There are eight stations in total, including Xiangtan North Railway Station, Chuanxingshan Station, Huangjiawan Station, Shuanghu Station, Pingtang Station, Hongqiao Station, Tongxi Station and Dawangshan Station. Five of them are located in Changsha and three in Xiangtan.
The ticket price from Xiangtan North Railway Station to Changsha's Juzizhou Station is 7 yuan. The first train departs at 6:30 am, and the last train departs at 10:00 pm.
The newly opened line will facilitate fast cross-city travel for Changsha and Xiangtan citizens and promote integrated development of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan.
