A total of 169,000 tourist trips, 75,300 tourist trips and 42,000 tourist trips were made at the three scenic areas respectively.
This year's Duanwu Festival holiday is confirmed to be the busiest in recent five years. Ctrip data showed that, the number of orders received by Changsha during the holiday increased 124% year-on-year. The holiday is near the summer vacation. The summer tourism market will be opened earlier than usual this year, with a surge in demand from families with children, graduates, and other groups. This will led to the release of the accumulated tourism consumption potential.
