The 13th Central China Investment and Trade Exposition will take place in Changsha between October 20 and 22.
The theme of this year's expo is "Openness, Cooperation, Green Development and Shared Benefits". During the event, there will be an opening ceremony and a keynote forum, as well as thematic events including the Central China Investment Promotion Conference for the "Year of Investment in China", the Hunan Tour for Transnational Companies, and the International Economic and Technological Development Zone Industrial Transfer Matchmaking Meeting. The exhibition area covers about 40,000 square meters.
The expo consists of comprehensive and thematic sections. The comprehensive section includes central government exhibition area, central China's six provinces exhibition area, Hong Kong and Macao exhibition area, and national economic and technological development zone exhibition area. The thematic section includes green new energy exhibition area, biomedical exhibition area, cultural tourism exhibition area, and overseas commodity exhibition area.
The Central China Investment and Trade Exposition is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Federation of Industrial Economics, and the six provinces of Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Hunan. The first expo was held in Hunan in 2006, and since then it has been held annually in rotation among the six central provinces.
