Dear Museum (Season 2) was recently launched at Changsha Museum, marking the start of the 100-day series of museum cultural activities. This year, a total of 52 cultural centers and museums have participated across Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan.

The International Museum Day falls on May 18 annually, with its theme this year being "Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing." The museums of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Metropolitan Area have deployed their overall resource advantage around the theme, allowing them to become important forces for inspiring wisdom towards a better quality of life, promoting social well-being, and building a sustainable future.

Dear Museum events include five main parts: limited editions of museum passports; quizzes on museum trivia; interactive museum stations for collecting passport stamps; the distribution of 100-day-event maps; and livestreaming museum programming. Additionally, participating museums across Hunan are offering blind boxes with cultural and creative objects. Under the slogan "100 Days! Exciting Encounters at the Museum," the events aim to showcase the allure and magnificence of the museums of Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan.

During the event, after participating in the online museum trivia competition through an H5 platform, people have the chance to win limited-edition pink museum passports and guide maps of 52 museums. The exhibitions scheduled for the summer vacation are incorporated into the passports and maps. People can visit the museums and have their passports stamped as a memento, and thereby collect a certain number of stapms to win cultural and creative gifts at participating museums.
