CCTV Airs Hunan Tourism Promotional Video

Starting from June 1, the new version of tourism promotional video for Hunan Province is aired before the prime time news program "Xinwen Lianbo", China Central Television's (CCTV) nightly newscast. The 15-second video, themed "Welcome to Charming Hunan", features the beautiful landscapes of Hunan, including its ancient sites, lush greenery, revolutionary history, and nighttime allure.

The new video showcases 12 iconic tourist landmarks and scenes, including Yuelu Academy, Orange Isle, Shaoshan, Shibadong Village, Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Langshan Mountain, Hengshan Mountain, Yueyang Tower, Dongting Lake, Fenghuang Ancient Town, Huangdu Dong Village, and the vibrant nightlife of Changsha. Together, these breathtaking scenes paint a magnificent and colorful picture of the beautiful and enchanting landscapes of Hunan.

The video, provided by the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, is broadcasted  every other day throughout the year before the prime time news program "Xinwen Lianbo". As the most-watched and influential television news program in China, "Xinwen Lianbo" will serve as a solid bridge for people from all walks of life to understand the tourism brand image and slogan of "Welcome to Charming Hunan", and to experience the delicious food, beautiful landscapes, and unique customs of Hunan.

In recent years, Hunan has been actively promoting its cultural tourism image under the theme of "Welcome to Charming Hunan" and has built it into a tourism brand system. The province has also established a promotion matrix through central media and international marketing, implemented five major projects, expanded its circle of international exchanges, and shared stories about Hunan's culture and tourism. These efforts aim to contribute to building Hunan into a world-class tourist destination.
