During the event, departments directly under the Changsha municipal government will hold 24 themed science popularization activities. A number of science popularization venues will open to the public free of charge, including the State Key Laboratory of Deep-Sea Mineral Resources Exploitation and Utilization Technology, Changsha Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall, and Hunan University of Technology and Business Art and Technology Innovation Science Popularization Base. Other sci-tech activities include an unveiling and signing ceremony for projects co-built by universities and institutes in Changsha and a symposium of an innovation and development alliance between the municipal government and universities and scientific research institutions; a roundtable forum on the integrated development of semiconductor industry, innovation, capital, and talent chain; and "Tsinghua University Graduate Social Practice Program". In addition, sci-tech innovation activities for young people and a series of science popularization activities on health, culture, food safety and environmental protection will be organized.

Districts, counties (including county-level cities) and industrial parks in the city will hold more than 100 activities to popularize sci-tech knowledge, advocate scientific methods, spread scientific ideas, promote the scientific spirit to the public, and further create a strong atmosphere for valuing, loving, learning and applying science.

Twelve municipal professional science popularization venues (bases) recognized by the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau in 2022 were awarded with plaques at the launching ceremony.

A signing ceremony and a roundtable forum on the integrated development of semiconductor industry, innovation, capital, and talent chains were held on site.

An exhibition area and an interactive area were also set up on site to highlight Changsha's major technological innovation achievements. Sci-tech products of enterprises such as Witmem, Yaohua Semiconductor, Jingjia Micro and Jurui Technology attracted wide attention.
