The Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held a press conference in Changsha on May 23. It announced that the Xinjiang Agricultural Products Fair will be held at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 26 to 30. At that time, more than 300 agricultural products with Xinjiang characteristics will be on display.

A total of 155 enterprises from Xinjiang and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as a number of domestic and foreign purchasers, will participate in the fair. Xinjiang's fine forest fruit products, agricultural and livestock products, wine and other featured agricultural products will be showcased, and more than 90% of them are produced by key leading enterprises and have obtained certificates of healthy food, organic produce, and source of production. To fully demonstrate Xinjiang's regional characteristics, the fair will set up a special exhibition area for featured and high-quality agricultural products, dry and fresh fruits, animal products, aquatic products and intensive and deep processing products.

Over the years, Hunan Province has provided pairing-up assistance to Xinjiang's Turpan City and made considerable progress in promoting the city's economic and social development. The fair will also provide a raw space for Turpan to display the achievements of Hunan's aid to Xinjiang and facilitate rural revitalization.
