China Southern Airlines will open a new flight route between Changsha City and Bole City in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on May 26, according to the airlines' Hunan branch on May 16. The new route will be Hunan's first direct route to Bole.
The Changsha-Bole route is scheduled to be operated three times a week (on Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from May 26 to October 28. The outbound flight CZ8479 departs from Changsha at 9:25 and arrives in Bole at 15:00. The return flight CZ8480 leaves Bole at 15:50 and arrives in Changsha at 20:40. The lowest ticket price for a one-way trip from Changsha to Bole is 780 yuan (taxes and dues excluded).
Bole is the capital of Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest of Xinjiang. It is known as "a wondrous land in the west and a spiritual land outside the world". It boasts abundant tourism resources, including Sayram Lake, a national 5A-level scenic area, Hari Tu'rege National Forest Park, Xiaerxili Natural Reserve, and other tourist attractions.
