Cooperation Intentions Worth Over 14.5 Billion Inked at Int'l Tourism Summit in Changsha

A promotion conference for tourism investment and a tourism B2B matching meeting of the World Tourism Cities Federation Changsha Fragrant Hills Tourism Summit 2023 were held in Changsha on May 11. Thirteen cultural tourism projects and 75 cultural tourism units in Changsha achieved fruitful results, with cooperation intentions worth 14.5 billion yuan reached.

Project roadshows were held at the tourism investment promotion conference, involving 6 projects, namely the Huitang Zilongdao Culture, Tourism and Business Complex in Ningxiang City, Jinggang Ancient Town's 2.0 Version Development and Construction in Wangcheng District, Rongdedao Metaverse in Yuhua District, Yingzhu Mountain 4A-level Scenic Area in Changsha County, and Orange Isle Beach Park and Houhu Lake Art Park in Xiangjiang New Area.

Following the event, 18 enterprises in the investment fund sector engaged in in-depth discussions with 31 participating persons in charge of investment promotion projects. They preliminarily reached intended cooperation deals on 13 cultural tourism projects including the Chinese Artisan Culture Expo Park, Ningxiang Huitang Zilongdao Culture, Tourism and Business Complex, Changsha County Yingzhu Mountain 4A-level Scenic Area, with a total value of 8.144 billion yuan.

At the tourism B2B matching meeting, 27 well-known travel agents at home and abroad, including the China Eastern Airlines, Fliggy, Meituan, Qunar, and Beijing Tourism Group, and members of the World Tourism Cities Federation, as buyers, conducted business negotiations with 75 cultural tourism-related key units and enterprises in Changsha. They also promoted respective resources. Strategic cooperation agreements were signed between the China Railway Tourism Alliance and Changsha Association of Travel Services, between Vietnam VietJet Air Co., Ltd. and China Youth Travel Service Hunan Branch Co., Ltd., and among Shanghai Ctrip Business Co., Ltd., Changsha County Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television and Sports, and Changsha Tourist Hotels Association, with a total intended contract amount of 6.4 billion yuan.
