Shen Xiaoming, secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, inspected the economic and social development of Hengyang City on May 8, 2023. He asked to give top priority to high-quality development; deepen cooperation and exchanges with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA); accelerate the growth of manufacturing industries; strengthen the economy of industrial parks and zones; comprehensively promote rural revitalization; continuously improve people's quality of life; and, effectively shoulder the responsibilities of building itself into a provincial sub-center city.

On May 8, Secretary Shen visited the TBEA Hengyang Transformer Co., Ltd. He learned about production and operation, products research and development, workplace safety, and Party building of the company, and talked to the technicians.

On May 8, Secretary Shen visited a residential community in Baizhuzao Neighborhood, Yanfeng District. He chatted with residents and merchants and learned about the grassroots Party building and livelihood services at the Party group service center.

On May 8, Secretary Shen observed the growth of fruits and vegetables and learned about vegetable characteristic industrial plantation construction in Sanxing area, Jiaoshan Town, Shigu District.

On May 8, Secretary Shen inspected the "Chuanshan Valley of Time" Clocks and Watches Industrial Park. He observed the finished watches and parts and learned about the advancement of the watch industrial chain in the park.
