A launch ceremony for the Dawangshan Yunba (SkyShuttle) line in Hunan Xiangjiang New Area is held at the line's Dawangshan Station on May 9 morning. The line is put into official operation at 11:18 am the same day. It is the world's first municipal Yunba line specially for leisure and tourism.
The line connects more than 10 cultural and tourist attractions in the Dawangshan Tourist Resort and allows passengers to transfer seamlessly to Changsha Metro Line 3 and Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Line. With its opening, citizens and tourists can feast their eyes on the beautiful scenery along the way and experience the cultural customs of Dawangshan area.
A Yunba train runs through the Dawangshan Tourist Resort.
The 8.256-km-long Yunba line starts at the Shantang (North Part) Tourist Center and ends at Guanyingang Tourist Center. The whole line is laid on an elevated ground with an average distance of 1 km between stations.
There are 9 stations on the line, namely Shantang Station, Happy Snowfield Station, Happy Town Station, HB Town Station, Dawangshan Station, Tongxi Park Station, Botanical Park Station, Xueshi Road Station and Guanyingang Station.
The line connects Changsha Metro Line 3 in the north and Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Line in the south. At the line's Shantang Station, passengers can enjoy convenient access to the Exits 1 and 5 of Changsha Metro Line 3 Shantang Station.
Ticket information
One-way ticket is priced at 20 yuan/person, which is only for a single use on the day of purchase.
One-day ticket is priced at 30 yuan/day, which can be used for unlimited times on the day of purchase;
The monthly pass is priced at 80 yuan/month, which can be used for unlimited times within 30 days from the date of purchase.
The annual pass is priced at 399 yuan/year, which can be used for unlimited times within 365 days from the date of purchase.
The station is equipped with self-service ticket processors, and supports various ticket checking methods such as electronic QR codes and one-way paper tickets.
The offline ticketing time is from 8:00 to 20:00, which will be advanced or extended according to actual situation. Please stay tuned for updates on the line's mini-program or announcements.
The online mini-program "Dawangshan Yunba [大王山云巴]" sells tickets around the clock.
