During the May Day holiday, the operation hours of some bus routes in Changsha City will be extended to support the night-time economy.
The operation hours of twelve bus routes covering the business areas around the Wuyi Square, Xiangjiang Avenue, Jiefang West Road, and Huangxing Road will be prolonged to 23:30 or even later. The twelve bus routes are: No.1, No.2, No.6, No.7, No.12, No.314, No.3, No.109, Lishan Line, Lvyou No.1, No.901, and No.202.
Besides, the operation hours of the Changsha Metro Line 6 will be adjusted to facilitate residents and tourists' trips.
On April 28 and May 3, respectively one day ahead of the holiday and the last of the holiday, the operation hours of the Changsha Metro Line 6 will be prolonged to 24:00.
During the five-day holiday, the minimum interval between trains on Changsha Metro Line 6 will be shortened to 4 minutes and 52 seconds during rush hours. Beyond that, extra trains may be added in a flexible manner to cope with travel rush and ensure smooth metro transportation.
