The Lanmei Airlines (Cambodia) Flight LQ967 took off smoothly from the Changsha Huanghua International Airport for Phnom Penh, Cambodia on April 10. This marked the opening of the first direct international passenger air route from Hunan Province to Cambodia after China adjusted its COVID-19 response.

Round-trip flights LQ966/LQ967 between Changsha and Phnom Penh are serviced by Lanmei Airlines A320/A321 aircraft once a week in April, twice a week in May and three times a week in June. This will help restore friendly political, economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges between China and Cambodia.

ASEAN countries including Cambodia have been looking forward to seeing Chinese tourists since China optimized its exit and entry management policies. Take a tour of Cambodia to explore the fascinating customs of Angkor; experience the magnificent Angkor historic sites, one of the Four Wonders of the East; visit the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh with traditional Khmer architectural style and vibrant religious colors; and see the mysterious smiling faces at the Bayon Temple.

Hunan's major travel agencies have offered discounted airfares to passengers on flights between Changsha and Phnom Penh, as well as various tourism products such as package tours and free tours (airfares and hotels included) that can meet the market demand. The cheapest one-way ticket is 1,000 yuan per person, and the lowest price for package tour products is 2,980 yuan per person. Specific prices are subject to the actual final enquiries.
