The EU-China Research and Innovation Stakeholders Tour 2023 in Hunan was held in Changsha on March 28, 2023. It introduced relevant policies and participation rules for science and technology programs in China and the European Union (EU), and the scientific and technological cooperation between the EU and its members with China. The event aimed to enhance the research quality and participation among researchers in China and the EU's science and technology programs, and further deepen China-EU science and technology innovation collaboration.
Hunan has successively carried out academic exchanges, talent training, joint research, and other cooperation with Germany, France, Sweden, and other EU members, achieving fruitful results. For example, the ASEM Water Resources Research and Development Center has been settled in Hunan to promote the sustainable use of water resources in Asian and European countries. The Nordic Sustainable Development Association has set up a representative office in Hunan to build a sci-tech cooperation bridge between Hunan and Europe.
