The 2023 "Belt and Road" International Biomedical Achievements Promotion Conference was held at the National Yuelushan University Science and Technology Park in Changsha City on March 21.

The meeting aimed to bring together high-quality resources from all parties in the field of biomedicine, showcase international cutting-edge achievements, and promote high-level communication and cooperation among biomedical experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs in countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" route. The general representative of BioCubaFarma in China was specially invited to introduce the group's main products, collaboration models, and the latest biomedical achievements made by the joint experiments of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, the University of Havana, Cuba, and BioCubaFarma. The group's technical experts and professors briefed on the pharmaceutical progress made by the China-Cuba Biotechnology Joint Innovation Center in Yongzhou City. They expected to take this event as an opportunity to establish diversified partnership with more Chinese companies in the biomedical industry.

Scientific research team representatives from the College of Life Sciences and the School of Medicine, Hunan Normal University and representatives of investment institutions had technical exchanges with BioCubaFarma technical experts.

The promotion conference was instructed by the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province and hosted by the Changsha Science and Technology Bureau and the Science and Technology Innovation and Industry Promotion Bureau of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area. The joint undertakers included the Changsha Productivity Promotion Center, the National Yuelushan University Science and Technology Park, and the Changsha Workstation of the National Technology Transfer Center of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
