They deliberated the work report of the NPC Standing Committee, a draft amendment to the Legislation Law, plan for State Council institutions reform, and a draft method on election and appointment of the first session of the 14th NPC, and elected scrutineers. The day marked the International Women's Day. Delegation Head Zhang Qingwei, on behalf of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, extended festive greetings and best wishes to the female NPC deputies, CPPCC members, workers, and women of all ethnic groups and from all walks of life in Hunan Province, and thanked them for their contributions to Hunan's economic and social development.
