Vice Governor Qin Inspects Basic Education in Changsha

Hunan Vice Governor Qin Guowen inspected basic education work in Changsha on March 6, 2023. He asked to fully implement the Party's educational policy, comprehensively do well in school-family-society cooperative education, and form a scientific and efficient school-family-society collaborative education mechanism with clear orientation, sound mechanism, and close linkage, to guarantee the healthy development of children.


Vice Governor Qin learned about general and special integrated education at the Yucai Dongtun Primary School in Furong District, and communicated with teachers and students. At the Bilingual Experimental Middle School of Changsha First High School, he inspected the school's mental health education, law and discipline education, and school-family-society cooperative education. Qin also visited a school bus service company and checked the operation of school buses and the school bus safety supervision platform on site. He spoke highly of the achievements made by these units and discussed on solutions and ideas for existing problems and shortcomings.


He emphasized that the well-being of children is closely related to millions of families, and that they represent the future of China. He called for comprehensively doing well in school-family-society cooperative education; establishing both long-term mechanism and efficient platform; and, exploring innovative models to form a mature education system. The family, school, and society should give full play to their respective advantages; closely follow the actual conditions and characteristics of the family, school, and community; and, strengthen in-depth coordination. It is necessary to promote the experience of general-special integrated education to enable more special children to go to school conveniently. Mental health education should be strengthened so that students can grow up healthily and happily. Efforts should be made to clarify the responsibilities of various departments, enhance the safety supervision of school buses, and effectively secure students' safety, he added.
