Hunan delegation attending the first session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held its third plenary meeting in Beijing on March 5, to deliberate the government work report. Shi Taifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and minister of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, attended.
Zhang Qingwei, head of the delegation, presided over the meeting. Mao Weiming, Wang Shuangquan, Li Dianxun, and Wu Lan, deputy heads of the delegation, and Du Jiahao, Xu Dazhe, Hu Xusheng, Liu Lianyu, Yang Weigang, Jiang Difei, Zhou Haibing, Zhu Yu, Ye Xiaoying, and Li Jiancheng, joined the deliberation.
According to the arrangements of the national annual "Two Sessions", Li Guoying, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group and minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, and Zhu Zhongming, vice minister of the Ministry of Finance, joined the meeting to listen to opinions. Relevant officials from the General Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Water Resources also attended.
Deputies Yang Yueqiu, Shi Jia, Tang Yue, Li Donglin, Hu Xusheng, Wang Xu, Xie Zilong, Yang Tao, Li Chunqiu, Li Jiancheng, Zhang Xuewu, and Dai Lizhong put forward their opinions and suggestions on food security, rural revitalization, industrial and supply chains, rail transit equipment, scientific and technological innovation, opening up, boosting consumption, education and talents, united front work, and the private economy.
