On February 22, an activity to care for left-behind children and a conference to promote the construction of "Fuxing Children's Palaces" in rural areas, part of a dream realization project of Hunan Province, were held in Anhua County, Yiyang City.

The conference summarized the pilot work of the construction of "Fuxing Children's Palaces" in rural areas, exchanged pilot experience, and explored the reform and innovation of a rural training model which combines centers for promoting cultural and ethical advancement in the new era with "Fuxing Children's Palaces". These efforts help guide children who are like saplings, to reach their full potential and become strong, towering trees, and cultivate a new generation of youngsters who are equipped with moral grounding, intellectual and physical ability, aesthetic sensibility and work skills, and are well-prepared to join the socialist cause.

Currently Hunan has 12 million primary and secondary school students, nearly half from rural areas. In 2021, the Hunan Provincial Civilization Office selected Ningxiang City, Shaoshan City, Anhua County, Guiyang County, and Xintian County as the first batch of provincial pilot sites. In 2022, Hengnan County, Shaoyang County, and Miluo City were included in the pilot list. The move aimed to explore and develop a practice brand of "Fuxing Children's Palaces" in rural areas, providing models and paths to rural "Fuxing Children's Palaces" construction for the whole province. So far, Hunan has built 124 provincial rural "Fuxing Children's Palaces".

Directors of the civilization offices of Anhua County, Changsha City, Shaoshan City, Guiyang County, and Xintian County made speeches at the conference respectively. They shared experience in building "Fuxing Children's Palaces". Representatives present at the conference carried out field visits to Siyuan School in Anhua County and "Fuxing Children's Palace" in Chengnan Community. A training course on minors' mental health counseling of Hunan Province was held at the conference.
